Though I have a yet to be installed warn 424 kit and will have 2x4 soon, I still really enjoy my full time 4x4. I really can't do donuts, but I still can slide my machine around. Where I was riding this weekend, 2 wheel drive would do nothing.

I agree, the steering is lighter, and the fun factor goes way up, going into 2wd.

I had a Wolverine and had a blast on it, I was looking into getting the warn 2x4 to ride in two wheel drive.
but I got rid of it and got a kodiak, I like it more that the wolverine, the push button 4x4 and diff lock is great.
I still have a blast running around in two wheel drive...

For us being in 4-wd all the time is OK. We ride two up and 90% is in the Rocky Mountains. We don't slide around so full time 4-wd is ok.

I do understand why the vast majority of people don't like it.

the reduction in steering effort, when putting my rancher in 2x4 is worth every penny, and u really can't throw my rancher sideways in 4x4 it sticks to the ground way to much

in all honesty, permenant 4x4 is just stupid, its lack of design or saving money y all 4x4 bikes are not selectable, i barely ever need 4x4, but i use it when pulling people out

IF you want to have fun in 2x4 get a polaris 500 h.o. its fast and a smooth ride while in 2x4 and when you need that little bit of traction and true 4x4 its just a flip of a switch away.
