Need fender extensions for my King Quad

Need fender extensions for my King Quad
Have you extended your fenders? Where did you find the extensions? I found some 2&1/2 inch rubber extender material on J.C. Whitney, but the lip looks to be in the wrong position to bolt under the fenders. What did you use, and where did you find it? Thanks!
