Best price on a Grizzly 660
#11
Tell that dealer to shove it where the sun don't shine. My local dealer was the same way...so with tax etc my griz woulda been $7500 out the door. I used these forums, asked lots of questions and drove 150 miles and got it for $6440 out the door and no high pressure crap to deal with. Theres a place in Missouri called pro cycle that had nearly the same price (about $5995 before taxes and prep). Go up the list on this forum to "yamaha" and post the question there. I think that heading gets more reads and posts...someone there will have a suggestion for you as to a nearby dealer thats not trying to get rich on you......have fun!!

Wolverineman, Romney didn't have a red Grizz, nor were they willing to match the price of Xtreme Motorsports in Kinderhook, NY. I went and picked up the Grizz and Raptor today, and other than it being a miserable day with hard rain all the way up and back, everything seems fine, no surprises.....at least not so far. The quads are all locked up, lookin nice and clean. Now I have to get some insurance and go off to the notary tomorrow and get them registered, and of course pay PA sales tax.

Even though you had to travel, it sure is a good feeling knowing you saved all that money. I try to steer everyone I can to go to those dealers that give good deals. I think Romney was selling the Grizzly for $6300 OTD. Theses dealers around here want $7199 plus $200 for set up. Good luck!

Well guys thanks allot for all your help. Being an impatient SOB I found another dealer that was willing to work with me. I got me a brand new 05 grizzly for 6905 OTD. I think that maybe I might have gotten a better deal if I drove somewhere but as I previously stated I’m impatient. Now I gotta find a good place for all the extra goodies. Check lakehillmotors.com for price on Honda and Yamaha. They're probably one of if not the biggest Honda/Yamaha dealer anywhere and offer some great prices. Use thier price as a comparisn base for local shopping.

Wolverineman, Thanks....and I couldn't agree with you more. My local dealers were all either at MSRP, or they'd knock a couple hundred bucks off, then promptly add b/s charges i.e. shipping...set up....etc. By the way, where exactly is Mt. Pleasant ?
