Power tips for exhaust?

Default Power tips for exhaust?

Has anyone tryed those power tips that that guy on Ebay is selling?

I have one....sounds better than stock exhaust but no power gain that I could see.

yea it dont give you more power gain it just give a better sounding exhaust.

It also does not have a spark arrestor, so you could not ride on public lands in Washington. I looked at it, but without a spark arrester it's not worth it.

You use the stock spark arrester that comes in the stock exhaust. If you leave this out it will sound worse ! I have one just because the exhaust sounds much better than stock.

I bought a stainless steel one for my 05 grizzly and it made my machine start faster and sound much better [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

The stock spark arrester is welded onto the stock exhaust tip on my 2003 Vinson.

i have one also i only ran it without spark arrester sounds good quite responsive
but worried about not having the spark arrester in so i took the one off the stock tip
now i think it ran better without but it is quieter

You won't see much of a change in power unless you let more air into your motor. A more free flowing air filter or modifying the air box will help. Since the Grizzly runs rich to begin with, you probably wouldn't need to re-jet but you should check your plug to be sure.
