Default utility vs. sport

I love my wolverine Scrambler is a nice choice too wont deny it. What I like about the wolverine is that its based off the same engine as the warrior which leaves countless aftermarket parts being interchangeable like my white brothers high lift cam etc etc. It's my baby I wouldnt trade her for anything. I can rip the mud and snow but I ride with mostly sport bikes lately and I can do either with ease.

If it is a "little" snow and mud, maybe a sport bike would do. Wheelies and jumping, are not the forte of a utility.

I stilll say the scrambler in either 2x4 or 4x4.
The 2 stroke 400 can be modded to run with the best of em.

I'd go with the Scrambler. I had a Wolverine about 10 years ago and wasn't impressed with the top speed.

The older blasters would be an good starter quad for cheap. Major brake upgrade on '03.

If you want anything that is any bit ute go with a Scrambler, they can be had fairly cheap as well.

hey, scrambler sounds good but isnt it automatic.I would like something with manual shifting. Hey i was wonderin what you thought of the honda fourtrax 300 4by4.. Will a scrambler be 1500 or under? I was thinking because of my budget i might have to get something cheap like a blaster unless i come across nice sport/utilty 4by4.

Is there 4by4 conversion kits for a honda fourtrax 2by4.

Yes the Sramblers and TB are autos.
Most all 4x4 utes are autos these days, or auto clutch.

Its going to be hard to find a 4x under 1500.
You may find and old Blaster or TB for that.

I wouldnt call the honda 300 4x a sporty ride. Hondas are usually slow and reliable.

MKay,

With what you want to do, a wolverine would be a perfect fit for you. Scramblers are nice too, but IMO scramblers don't go though the mud and snow as well as the wolverine.
