New here and getting back into ATV's
I would consider the Rincon, but I don't really want to spend that kind of money. Not to mention I really don't want to drive a machine that large or heavy.
I have given a little though to spending a little more money on a Kodiak 450 though since I am looking at near $5,500 OTD on a Eiger. I feel that it wouldn't cost me much more to get the Kodiak. That black Special ED is pretty sweet looking, though being that color I'd have a hard time getting it dirty so I'd probably stick to the cheaper "blue"
On a side note I did stop by a Kawasaki dealer today to look at the Prarie 360 4x4 a bit closer. I gotta say I now understand why ATV TV said it was a bit noisy and buzzy. I don't think I'd like to spend all day listening to it. It also didn't feel very peppy, it felt that on the trail it could be over-worked easily.
Needless to say I'm still ATV-less, but I'm working on it!

New here and getting back into ATV's
I purchased my new Eiger today. After 3 weeks of pricing at dealers I finally negotiated a good price from one of them. After weeks of hearing OTD prices ranging from $5470-$5600 OTD I was able to arrange a price of $5191.50 OTD. I jumped at that price wich, compared to what I kept hearing from the dealers, I feel is a great buy on one here in UT.
So I was able to get just what I wanted, '05 Eiger manual shift in Yellow. (My wife HATES yellow, wich was part of the reason why I wanted it in Yellow )
It should be a great machine for me and my intended uses.
Now were planning to get them dirty this weekend

The machine isn't even dusty yet and we're already talking "mods"
I have given thought to a small accessories list:
Rear rackbag with cooler insert and I was thinking I'd order some metal skids for it, cause the plastics seem really flimsy.
I was also giving some thought to aftermarket wheels. Maybe the ITP Delta wheels in black$chromering appearance or the C-type 7 wheel is sweet. I've also thought about the chrome Maxxis 8 spoke design.
Anyone know where I can get metal skids at a reasonable price?
