Anyone have any experience with this trailer from harbor freight? http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=47845
I need an inexpensive trailer for my foreman. Any suggestions? It will be used mostly for hauling firewood or fishing gear.

AJmtnbiker,
That looks like the same cart Sears is selling for like $280 (link to item here).
I checked the Ohio Steel website (link here), but couldn't find that particular item.
Another company, sells a similar (or exactly the same) item for like $400 (link here, in middle of page). The also sell items from Ohio Steel, so it maybe the same as the one from HF. I tried to find the company from HF that is listed as the manufacturer (US General), but couldn't find a website.
If it is the item from Ohio Steel, I can recommend it. I just purchased a 17 cubic foot dump trailer from Ohio steel (purchased as Sears) and it is very well made. All welded construction with like a solid 1" steel bar for the axle. Very beefy.
My neighbor has a 10 cubic foot John Deere plastic trailer (he uses behind his lawn tractor) that he bought at Home Depot for like $170. It has proven very rugged and reliable, as I have borrowed it several times. Just another idea.

I purchased a Swisher ATV Trailer. I have hauled many loads of firewood and seems to be a nice unit. All welled, dump bed and quite. I would recommend looking at these. OTD from Tractor supply 4/05.

I bought the Home Depot trailer, 1500 lb capacity metal sides w/tailgate. About $200 or so. It lasted one year. If you get one of those trailers made made for a lawn tractor you will most likely be purchasing a new on in about a year. I purchased an Otter Express trailer and it works great. It cost me about $430 to my door from bass pro shops. If you think about it, I really paid $630. counting the Home Depot trailer. If you get one of the trailers with the tailgate that slides in from the top, it will pop out when you drive off road with a load due to trailer flex. I bought the large Otter Express trailer, they have smaller less expensive ones too.
