Grizzly 660 Exhaust
#1
I am buying an exhaust for my Grizzly 660 and I needed to know if anyone had trouble rejetting there exhaust for the HMF pipe. The place I am buying the exhaust kit from says that dynojet instructions are not accurate and that I could end up burning a whole in my pipe. Any input would be great thanks. Also, has anyone tried out the supertrapp exhaust? If I don't find the answers I want about the HMF I am going to fall back on that one. All advice is welcome.

The Dyno-jet kit will work fine. They are selling a power package on Ebay for the Griz with an HMF exhaust, Dynojet kit and K&N Filter. I think it was about $325. That sounds pretty reasonable. Be for warned, the HMF pipe is extremly loud.

I just put a white brothers E-series on my grizz with a dynojet kit and a uni filter. I am running the 155 jet that came in the kit and I belive its on the lean side right now. I also have 6 plates in the exhaust and it sounds the best. I tried 12 and its just crazy loud. I am still trying to dial this all in but as far as I can see there is not much power gain in doing all of this. I love the way it sounds right now and it makes you think that you are going better because of noise but I have some buddies that I ride with and race all the time and I am doing no better against them then I was. But I am still trying

Well, I ended up getting the Supertrapp exhaust. It is louder, but I wish it were more. I kinda wish I would have gotten the HMF. O well, no use in crying over the shoulda and coulda. Peace

Well,
Here is what I have gotten in the last week and thoughts on the items:
ITP Delta Series Black Wheels-- They may weigh more, but they look great and are half the price!!
27" ITP 589 Tires-- Great tires; They pull great in mud and are not rough ride on the trails; But they like to dig in soft sand.
High Lifter Outlaw Clutch Kit-- Have not installed yet; Will get back to ya'll
K & N High Flow Air Filter-- See Below
Outer wears Pre-Filter-- See Below
SuperTrapp IDS-X Exhaust-- See Below; Also it sounds deeper, but I would like it to be louder
Bayou Clutch Snorkel Kit-- Does it's job well
DynoJet Jet Kit-- See Below
NGK High Performance Racing Spark Plug-- See Below

This is Below!
With all the items that refer here I cannot judge one alone because I did not add them one at a time. They work well together in making up for the power I lost when I added the heavier wheels and tires. The instructions for the jet kit were right on, but I would like to add more discs to the exhaust to make a little more roar. I am calling Supertrapp tomorrow 2 see exactly how many discs I can add because it did not say in the manual. I will give you an update when I get more info.
I will get photos posted this week!
Have Fun
