Winches

.......never heard of em'........but I'd guess if you pay a cheap price, you'll get a cheap winch........and when you really need a winch......you're stuck in the middle of nowhere......the extra bucks you paid for a Warn or Ramsey are going to be worth every penny.

the poster above has no idea, i seen warn winches fail in the same places my 50 dollar special winch didn't its hit or miss when they will fail, mine has been going strong 2 years, and has seen everything from snow to being underwater and being used

...........moose........L'bill's right...........and I once saw a man in Reno make 43 passes on a craps table........
You might get that $50 special that will do just fine.........but when I used to skydive, I prefered the man packing my chute to be good rather than lucky............

if I were you I'd go with a warn winch we have one on the kodiak since it was new and its a 1993 and it never broke and never let us down its a warn 2.5 tonne I believe why waste money on a crap winch when you can buy a good one for not very much more and it'll save you a walk back to the truck
