I have a BF and was wondering who makes the best handguards & skid plates for for these utility atv's. What experience have you guys had with plastic vs aluminum on the skid plates? here would be the best place to get them?

I have plastic Maier skids on my utes. They are light and cheap, and plastic is very SLICK. With aluminum, the surface is going to gaul and you are going to stick on the rock. With plastic, you usually just slide right off.

You already have lots of skid protection on your machine in stock form. The plastic skid just provides a slick surface over your existing skids so stuff will slide off.

I highly recommend Power Madd hand guards. I have a set on my Grizzly and the work great. The only draw back is price at around $50.00 but they are tough as nails
