Need input on new tires for a Brute 750!
#1
I will be buying a new wheel/tire kit next Tuesday and right now plan on purchasing ITP MudliteXTR 27"ers w/ ITP 14" wheels. I am having some issues as to whether or not this set up will be to obnoxious and have any issues with rubbing on a stock Brute? I use this atv for mostly trails, some mud and hunting. Basically I dont want the Brute to be a "Big Foot" atv just an aggresive and stabler one capable of trails etc. Any quick help or pictures would be great!

A lot of the guys I know are running Radial ATRs unless they are creek running or riding in a lot of mud. The milder ATRs are smoother riding and they don't tear up the trails so bad. I'd make sure I get radials in any case. All of the guys I know swear by them.
A friend brought his Prairie down for me to try out a while ago and it had 589s on it. It had been raining a little and those 589s really tore the crap out of my trails here on the farm. Worked great for slopping around in the creek but they really made a mess of my trails.

Where I ride mostly rock trails and sand the Bighorns do really well. The C series wheels help the BF750 out by making it wider and giving it a more solid feel. I am not sure, but the 14" rims should even be better, less side wall flex. You'll have to let us know how they work out.
