I had the same question for my '02 Vinson. After looking/reading up on different pipes, I narrowed it down to Big Gun, HMF, and Yoshimura. I chose the Big Gun Evo Sport Utility because it meets USFS requirements of 94 db and is supposed to add a couple of HP without jetting. Big Gun also claims to produce more midrange power and torque. Some of the other brands are pretty much full race systems requiring jetting, which I don't want to do. My quad is pretty much relegated for hunting and just cruising. I'll post a follow up (if your interested) with the seat of the pants results when I get the pipe next week.

I just ordered a HMF pipe and the CDI box they offer for my outlander 800. I hope to have it in 2 weeks. They are not planing to ship it till sometime next week when the CDI boxes are perfected for there pipe. They said it should ship next week. I also ordered the quiet core since the last pipe I got from them was way to loud and I like them kinda loud but that pipe was on a mono jug so I think the twin will sound a little quieter anyway but I ordered the quiet core just to be safe. I keep you all posted how it turns out.

Yosh and Suzuki just go together...maybe it is just imprinted on my brain from the road racing link between Yosh and Suzuki.
I think Yosh products are top notch and would be my first choice, then FMF & Pro Circuit in no specific order.
