HI I,m new here so here goes, when I put it in gear and give it a little gas it knocks or has a harsh rattle,sounds like it is in the left side of the motor. Are theyknown to have bad rod and crank bearings, or am I hearing something else.I bought it a month ago 2400 km on it works great. 1999 bigbear 4x4 350, yes its a little slow,my son,s lt160 is faster. Update, it's the counterweight in the centrifical clutch.

 

i just got one recently but i dont know what that noise it , i ve had no probs. but mine is an 06 so it new. anyway i just got a recall on it but its all cool

 

It's weird,it sounds like a rod by times and then like the cam chain is rapping,and it doesn't do it all the time. I ordered a manual and when I get it I will be able to understand more on how its put together . If I can't get an un-locker for it I'm going to sell it and buy one that can go in two wheel drive.
