Working with your quad
This is my first post on this site and was wondering if anybody uses their quad for business? With all the available implements available somebody must have started a quad for hire business. Snowplows, mowers, loaders are all out there. I have used my to drag softball fields and make a little bit of cash, not enough to quit my day job, but it got me thinking can I make enough money to make a living?

The last 3 quads (Kawasaki 300, 400 & 650) I've owned payed for themselves. I own a pest control company and used them to apply herbicide to pastures, lawns, bare ground weed control and treating fence lines. Sure made most of those jobs get done a lot quicker. it's also a handy tool for patching fence lines. I've got a new Rhino and I'm sure it will earn it's keep also.

Use my Cat 500i on my farm all the time. Big advantage of it over a truck or a tractor is that it doesn't tear the ground up nearly as bad. For light work - fence repair, firewood, or just looking around, it's perfect.
Lots more fun than a truck, too, but don't tell the IRS that...
