I mounted warn 424 on 2006 rancher (inside glove compartment)

Not quite sure what honda calls the little compartment on the left side of where the gas tank (or side plastic) is...so for lack of a better word - I call it glove compartment.
Anyway, I mounted a warn 424 selector (little red button) inside this easily acessible fist-size cavern.
I'll try and put a picture or link here:
424 pic 1
424 pic 2
The mounting is solid and in a great location to reach in and push or pull to engage the 4wd selector. The 45 degree angle is perfect for grabbing.
I kept asking but nobody really ackowleged whether or not this has been done before. Looks great and works excellent too!
I'm sure there are the many (or most) who prefer it mounted up-top (on the plastic or the front rack) in the event they get stuck and need it quickly, with the way I mounted it you really would need to slow up or stop and open the compartment and engage it - that is unless you left the door off when riding in iffy terrain situations.
If there is others who wondered about this location like I did...
IT WORKS GREAT!
Thanks.

Link ain't working for me. Sounds like a great idea. I would prefer the selector **** to be hidden out of view, but there's no such option on a Wolverine. I tucked mine out of sight the best I could (underneath the left handlebar) but you can still see it.

I'm not sure how to post a picture or I would, basically my understanding would be to make sure the picture is hosted and copy the url properties into the http link above, well w/yahoo it only works for awhile and then times out (I believe it's too save bandwidth)
Could email a picture unless you guys could host it...
- not really all that much to look at, the compartment has a 45 degree base on the bottom (this makes an ideal spot because it's pointed right up at you and a great place to grab and push the selector) I basically used the black metal support and screwed that to the inside wall of the compartemt with the two screws, the bracket is all the way down and then drilled the 5/8" hole and also supported it with the base and then sandwiched it tight w/the large 1 7/8" or whatever size the large silver nut is - it's an extremely secure with this method.
