You should get whatever you want, but my feedback is this, don't get either of them! Spend the extra $ and get the bomb 800 EFI! wink wink. Nah the grizzly is a benchmark 4x4. Two buddies of mine have them and beat the living **** out of them, and they take the beating in stride! I personally have had bad luck with suzuki, so i steer clear of them.

I have an 05 Grizz, and they are very tuff, If it had EFI it would be the perfect machine, most of my riding is done above 3,000 elevation when I'm up around 5-6,000 ft. this can make a huge difference, in performance, Your mileage may vary.

Get the KQ, it's EFI gives it excellent gas milege and it has great power. Just get an aftermarket airfilter.

If I were shopping for a 650-700cc sport ute class I would scratch the Grizz till they upgrade it some, possably later this year. If I were shopping today I would compare the 06' Rincon to the KQ. Both have good handeling and good errgo's, simmilar displacement, and Both have EFI. I personaly lean toward the honda for its a lower cost machine to maintain and has a very good reputation for being reliable.

Go to the suzuki post on this site.....some people are calling it the kingcrap. They've had their shares of recalls. Tie rods, throttle cables, transmissions burning up, and now they have this air cleaner issue which is wiping out engines..but suzuki is still building them the same way. It would seem as if reliaility at this time is on the side of the grizzly, and it might reflect in the resale value.

Thanks again everyone for your feedback!!! I have weighed everything and I have decided that I am going with the Grizzly. I'm headed up to Colorado next weekend to pick it up. The straw that broke the camel's back was the fact that the Suzuki dealers wouldn't allow me to ride one. Oh well, I'll be on a Griz soon!

You wouldn't have been disapointed with either, but I think you made a good choice! The Suduki, I mean Suzuki (joke) is a new comer, and has a few obstacles to climb, where the grizz is tried and proven. Some say it getting old, maybe it is, but truth is it's perfected. Again, find you some aftermarket tires for that thing. Otherwise, you will have sport bikes passing you in the mud!

Man oh man, this is a hard one. Both are great quads. The KQ has the advantage of EFI and the griz has proven history. As far as I am concerned, I would get the KQ, but there is no way you can go wrong with either one. I believe you mention you live in Albuquerque, NM. I would be more incline to get the KQ for the EFI due to the altitude of the mountains. Just my thought. Let us know what you get and enjoy.

hey there, i saw where you have bighorn radials on your 650. what do you think of them. i hear they are not much in the mud but have good traction on rock. i have a 400 ac. i am a bit concerned about the possible loss of power due to the heavier tire. you may not have noticed any change with a 650 but i'm sure i will with a 400. thanks for the help.

We have 3 sets of them. I can tell you they look good, the handle good, they ride smooth, they last at least 3-4 times longer than factory dunlappy's and they have good traction on most surfaces. They are a fairly heavy tires so you count on giving up power. In our testing of the tire it tipicaly drops the power about 10% vs stock on our 650-700cc Kawi v-twins. Thats about 3 HP on our machines.
