06' Brute Force VS 06' King quad

you got a bad one it sounds like that. mine doesn't viberate enough to notice and can always run with or ahead of my buddies King. any condition. i'm not bashing the king, but it is not "far superior" to the brute. they do different things well.

My buddy and his wife bought new Brutes at the same time I got mine and not one of us still own the brute's Maybe that wil tell you how good they are I had 2 ebs servos go out,1 belt,1 cv break, bad jetting from the factory, carb boot rip, bolts rattle out, floor boards bend and rip the plastic from the bolts, and the display go out once All within the first 578 miles And my buddy had very simular results with his and thats why we dont own them anymore It was easier to take the loss and trade them in on my King and they got 1 King and a Outty 800

dont let poeple talking about bent or broken floor boards or bolts rattling out of the brute force. all floorboards will bend or break if you miss treat the atv. I have almost 700 mi on my brute 750 , the worst is the tie rod recall and jet
replacement. other than that it is a v twin . huge power and torque, all bolts will eventually work loose on all all all
atv's , suzuki is ok but at the mud bogs and sled pulls and drag races in wilksboro, N.C. the brute was the champion and that was actually my 750. we had 1180 lbs with rider and machine for the pulls. make your decision based on the dealer and his knowledg of all the atvs, fit of machine for your uses and needs, price and warrenty
both expensive both fun both will have quirks and tear axil boots seen it all happen at W.Va. and Tenn. trails
I will buy another Kawi and enjoy suzuki mx bikes

Original poster: Best advice go drive them... i did but i'm a power junky and you couldn't give me the king quad because it doesn't satisfy me in that need... the low end de-tune is a huge turn off on me.

I love the power of the BF but I simply hate the way the thing handles. The one I had the most seat time on had radials and wider wheels but still handled like crap. I'm told it can be made to handle great with expensive shocks and stuff but stock it was just atrocious. I don't know why Kawasaki ever let it out of the factory handling like that. Wrecked what could have been a great ATV.
I like the way the KQ rides and handles but I'm really concerned about the durability. It seems like there is some new serious engineering defect every month with it. More disturbing to me is the way in which the manufacturer refuses to acknowledge or repair those problems and screws the owners at every opportunity.
Make the BF handle like the KQ and put EFI on a the Kawi V twin and you would have a real winner.

I dont ride mud period!!!!! Its probably the worst thing you can do to your quad. Give me long tuff trails and Im in heaven Trust me after 5 hr on the brute your body is dust I can ride my King 5 hr's every day and feel great when Im done But I will agree with you that the brute would probably be better in the mud But on the trails the brute just sucks
