What terrain and types of riding do you usually do?

usually muddy trails, water, your average wood trails. nothing to highspeed or hilly

If nothing too high-speed or hilly, I would have to say the Brute Force. The King is fine at lower speeds, but the Brute has it in the ground clearance department, and thus would have an edge in mud. If you don't mind holding the locker lever when you do hit the slop, then by all means, the Brute. However, if you are looking at an ATV for anything besides power and mudding ability, I'd like to know because it may sway my advice somewhat.

Yeah, the King has awesome features and is a great and comfortable trail rider at speed. However, if you're not really concerned about that, I'd say the Brute for it's engine.

i can't help much. i narrowed it down to these two when i was looking at what to buy myself. it came down to my emotional attatchment to the v-twin engine design and not any real difference in real world performance. i am not interested in top speed, and i consider the KQ at least an equal to the brute for my use (trails/rock crawling). price them and look at them, ride them both. one will stand out. you could build a strong case for either.
sorry, that's about as much as i can help.

I would get the King its far superior to the Brute in all respects EXCEPT for all out power

I own both trust me the brute farce handles like crap ,the motor vibrates on your feet when you ride, the quality of the product is VERY low I dont think I would buy another kawasaki product again after owning my brute
