All of it fits in a small north face back pack. The whole list weighs in at about 35lbs (Small Items)

I feel your pain, but i found that if you put your beer in ziploc freezer bags and then in a bookbag that seems to help the problem

I'm 63. My riding (prospecting) area south of my ranch comprises appx 1000 square miles of high desert - mostly mountains. There's no water, sparse vegetation, and no help. You're on your own.

I carry water, tools, first aid gear, survival gear, survival rations, a couple of signaling devices and more than one firearm.

If you want more specifics, ask.

Default Utility Riders: What do you take?

I'm known to have: Chainsaws, Axes, sledgehammers, nails, hammer, rope, spare tube for tires, spare polaris parts, , box of size 10 bolts for honda racks, spare helmet, spare gloves, tow rope, cell phones, gps, googles, dustmask, fishing lines, sleeping pad/bag, extra change of clothes, extra rain gear, tarp, spare straps and bungies cords, tire repair kit and compressor, spare valve stems, self lighting torch, face wipes, air fresherners for spraying my helmet, toothbrush, mouth wash comb, etc... flashlight, newspaper, extra airfilter, spare oil and filter for bike, binoculars, camera, paper towels and shop towels, single burner colman stove, extra gas for bike, extra gas and oil for saw, hiking shoes, fold up chair and table, towel and swim suit and water shoes, kidney belt, first aid kits, duck tape, electrial tape, extra wire, hat, army food rations, snack food, lots of drinking water, fire bucket (also used to clean out rad), welding gloves for fires, electrial contact cleaner, bug spray, glass cleaner spray, small tent, knives, leatherman, ratchet kit, plyers, vise grips, wrenches, screw driver kits, spare spark plugs, a window scraper for snow on the floorboards, transmission fluid to prevent cables from freezing, barbaque scraper minus the handle, (soft one) for my radiator, small jumper cables, garbage bags (to keep things dry), and a cloth garbage bag for garbage, extra key for truck and ATV, I used to bring hipwaders, sun block, matches, radio.... I'm sure I could have more. I do have a trailor too but most of it fits on the bike in a box on the front and back racks. My trailor is designed for camping, and it is built right for dragging behind an atv. In my trailor you will find a 7 man tent, tarps barbarque, hammics, sleeping pads, dc fridge, small motormaster battery pack for power, more chairs, the top of the trailor turns into a 4x8 fold up table, A full size matress is on the bottom of the trailor mainly to protect the contents of the trailor, more gas for bikes, spare tire, surival suit, thin wet suit to wear when raining, enough food for everyone for duration of trip plus 2 days. Everything is organized in waterproof bags. Now I can also bring my kayak with my atv. We are set for for serious explorations, we have travelled for 13 days by atv. It's no fun on an atv if you are not prepared. I like to see someone carry this on a sport bike lol.
