Anyone have some good closeup pics of the PTO on the back end of the Terrapro? Is there supposed to be a shaft sticking out on the ATV, or is the male end on the mower? I picked up a decent FM-48, but they did a hack job on the half shaft and welded a different end on it. It's a female end. Just trying to figure out how it's actually supposed to go together. Anyone maybe have some PTO parts they would part with? Thanks, Sam

No, the output from the quad is a female fitting. The male splined end is supposed to be on the mower. They must have had that mower hooked up to something else.

I would think it would be a standard size, but who knows. I don't have the RC, I have the FM48 and I'm pretty sure it uses standard blades. I would just take the blade to your local hardware store and match it up. Or you could get a part number from Yamaha, but I wouldn't buy from them. They wanted $100 for the belt form my FM48. I bought one online for $20.

Default Blades

The blades for a RC42 is a small bushhog blade rather than a lawn mower blade. It is approx. 2.5in wide and 16-18 inches long and a little over .25in thick. Mine are badly worn --looks like a knife blade instead of square at the cutting end.
This will be a special blade I'm afraid.

Please post where you are buying parts for the Terrapro. ie belts, blades and parts. It will be helpful as we all find these parts and off market items to help one another locate them without spending time searching...
Thank you.

I know it's a bushhog blade. I was just thinking that they would have been nice enough to make it a standard size. I bought the belt for my fm48 from Bailey's

Bailey's - 1/2" x 120" Oregon V-Belt for Simplicity 42" 5000 and 6000 Series Tractors=

The mower decks were made by Woods for Yamaha, so any Woods dealer should be able to get parts, or cross reference parts to work. Anybody have a PTO shaft for an FM-48 they don't need? If not, I may be wanting to sell my Terrapro/mower combo. Located in Central IL.

Default Terrapro RC42

I have found belts for the Terrapro engine to PTO (B30) ($10.99) and RC42 bushhog (B51)(16.39) at Napa Auto Parts. Commercial grade.

Question: Are there two belts from the engine to the PTO on the Terrapro? It looks like there should be two but mine only has one pully on the PTO side. The second pully has the side closest to the PTO worn or cut down to where a belt won't stay on. The engine side has two pullies and the idler is set up for two....Just wondering if it was cut intentionally or what...
