Default GPS (which one)?????

For the last 7 years or so, I've used the Garmin Etrex Vista.

I transfer it between mounts on both ATVs, my mountain bike, and have taken it to - and used it in - Alaska, the Yukon, South America, Panama and the jungles of Costa Rica. I have great faith in it's reliability.

I use a yellow Garmin Etrex. Simple, easy to use. I bought a handlebar mount and 12 volt adapter and I can just mount it to my Ranchers' bars and plug it into the 12 volt receptacle.

Default GPS (which one)?????

i got a garmin V free with my truck when i bought it (amazing you buy a 35,000 dollar truck and they give you a 400 dollar gps free what a deal) anyways it has been great and very easy to run. the only thing i will complain about is that i wish it had a color screen so it would be easier to see in the sun, that is one thing i would recommend. my dad has a magellan and it isn't as user friendly as my garmin is.

I now use a GPS V from Garmin with their bike mount. Works great. Did have a GPS III, but moved up to the V. Have the mapping software so that can make map of trails and save on computer. Can see in my pictures. My brother made a curved bar to go on the ATV so that I could mount the GPS.

I have been using the Etrex Vista for about 4 years and it works good. I swap it between the quad rides and my dual sport motorcycle rides. The Vista has everything you could want and has held up real well.
