Default Camo paint not gas proof!

I was filling up my snow camo and spilt a little on the fender. I hurried and wiped it up and the paint came off. What the hell is that. It doesnt even have 10 miles on it. I will call dealer tomorrow. Has this happened to anyone else?

Thanks UTEATV

I have spilt gas on myne too and that has never happened.

Myabe it was the wipping immediatly that caused it. I let it dry then dump water on it or just let it evaporate and I have not had any issues with the paint.

The finish actually bubbled and cracked. The dealer said this is the first time they have seen this happen.

Did the dealer say anything about fixing the problem? Like maybe all new plastics? Let us know how this shakes out.

The dealer said they would contact Kawasaki monday to see what they will do. I will let you know the outcome. The problem I think is that if you overfill the gas it just puddles up and sits there. Although the finish should be gas proof. I have overfilled my grizzly which is camo and never had a problem.

My P360 is not Camo but it has had gas, diesel, oil, couple of kinds of herbicide (spraying to kill weeds) and who knows what else spilled on it at the farm. No damage to the finish at all. Barbwire tends to scratch it up some but it is used for work a lot.

My Yamaha realtree hasn't wiped off with gas but watch out for the powerwasher...I did lose some camo to that.

Have you heard back from the dealer yet? Kind of curious about what Kawasaki is going to do, or not do, about this.
