Default Looking for a chainsaw holder

Does anyone know where to find a good rack-mounted chainsaw holder for a good price? I've seen them at Cabela's and Bass Pro but was wondering if they were available anywhere for under $60?

The Kolpin chain saw press works great. But it's about $60.00. I think it was worth it though. I've done some heavy 4x4ing and it keeps the chain saw solid as a rock.

Thanks, I ended up going with it. Since I've had it, I've done several days worth of land clearing and it's held the saw securily in place. It does a good job.

Around here we make a box from plywood with a cover and strap or U-bolt it to the rack. Than you have lots of room for gas, oil,Axe,gloves, wrench etc. Personally I wouldn't be comfortable with my saw clamped out in the open where it could get full of mud, snow, rocks, etc.

Hey, that was a big selling point for me. I have two attachments already, and will eventually get the chainsaw holder too. 4inch round( not long, blade length makes a differance) Pvc pipe, zip ties, and a bungie at the end to hold the saw in place after you place the blade in the pvc pipe.
one end of the bungie cord is screwed to the pvc pipe and then a hole is drilled in the other side of the pvc pipe big enough for the end to clip in. Hard to describe. but it works......

I'll have to try the PVC design on the other machine. Thanks!

the same pvc tube also works as storage when you put on the end caps. Dont glue them on. they fit snug.Have a UPS buddy that uses them for all his maps. Make them any size you want and they make great wet proof canisters while trail riding or camping. You can either zip tie the pvc to the atv or screw it to the rack with self drillers. you will need an angle drill.
We have pvc fishing rod holders, pvc shovel holders, The stuff is unreal. of course I make pvc medical furniture for a living, have done that for about 14 years. Anthrosmedical.com
