We usually just take ours to the car wash, but i have found that the Mr. Clean deally works well, but not as good as the car wash of course.

I use either S100 or Simple Green (depending on the mood). Works great on the Rancher and dirt bike after knocking the really thick mud off with a hose.

I usually wash it with some kind of cleaner then after its all dried wipe it down with something like Son of a Gun, Armorall etc....shines up the plastic nicely.

I use regular car wash soap, with tire cleaner for the tires, the car soap is real bubblely and makes it look good.

I wait until its time for a service and then my dealer does it. I'll check with those guys and see what they use cuz they really do a nice job of it.

I wouldn't use dish soap. Ivory liquid and Dawn and Joy and those are actually pretty harsh detergents. You NEVER use those kinds of soaps on your car so I can't think they'd be good on your quad either. I use the same stuff I use on my vehicles. I'd have to look at the specific brand but it is a car type of soap that doesn't strip wax or anything. I think the last stuff was rain dance or something. I'd be even more careful about what I washed it with if I had a camo finish. Definitely a quality mild car soap in that case and no pressure washer. I'd hate to see a big ten inch wide 18 inch long slice of my brand new ATVs wicked cool camo finish go sailing off into 4 winds because I'd softened it up with dish soap and then scraped it off with a pressure washer. That's just the kind of dumb *** trick I'm renowned for.

i'm on board with rancher i usually launch it in a ditch full of water and call it good. but then i have to clean the axles sometimes which isn't so bad.
