Pushing snow...My Dad is looking for a new quad, hes currently has a 660 03' Grizzly. He wants something that will have more power pushing the snow for plowing the drive way since we usually get a lot of snow here...If you could leave some feedback...

Thanks

I was going to say the Grizz was the best for pushing snow, I don't think you can get a better one that what you have.

You want a big engine/heavy quad for snow, Polaris Sportsman 7 or 800 or Arctic Cats. They're the heavy ones.....

You'll have to check prices in your area, look on cycle trader.com. An 06 800EFI can be had around here for about 7 grand....

I don't think a grizzly would have problems pushing any amount of snow.....my kodiak will push snow thats higher than the blade as far as I want...however a heavy polaris will push even better

Do you think aftermarket 27 inch tires would help push the snow?

Aftermarket tires would help but it's not necessary to go to a larger size. That would not help at all.

Pushing any amount of snow would be an easy task for any stock Grizzly with stock tires. Aftermarkets would just be icing on the cake.

your 660 grizz has more than enough power to push the snow lots of people have smaller bikes and have pushed plenty of snow with them. However all that power is no good if you can't get any traction I'd sugest adding some tire chains or sand bags strapped to the front and rear racks.
