cutting carb spring..how?
#2
Ok, first off remove the seat. On the top of the carb are 4 screws, remove them. Make sure your screwdriver fits snuggly. They will strip easily. Lift off the top plate. Theres a rubber diaphram and spring in there. Remove the spring and count off 10-11 coils counting the bunched up ends as one. Cut it. Put the longer piece back in the carb being careful not to pinch the diaphram when replacing the cover. Put the screws back in and go have fun. This will only take you about 10 minutes and the throttle response is very noticeable.
