Thanks. All-in-all ATVs just come down to preference. Anything can be made faster;Anything can be made easier to steer; Etc.

Just depends on your preference. I personally did not pick out my KQ, my dad did, as he rode it before we had the Outty. Now he rides the Outty, and I ride the KQ. I love this bike. I have never rode the Grizzly, but I'm 99.5% sure he checked out the Grizzly when he looked at all of them. He also looked at the BF. But all-in-all, I love my KQ, just like people love their Grizzlys, and their BF's, and their Recons. It's just preference, in the long run. I think he will be happy with either bike.

The Grizz will out perform the king quad but when it is compared to the 650 and 800 outty the outtys eat bears for lunch.

 

again. were talking flat out power. drag race strait line.. u can have all that power. but again will the big power out run a rider thru the woods on a grizzly or king quad. i highly dought it. the rider is the major factor here. they can eat up bear all day long in a straight line. now throw in some tight woods. jumps. corners. and lets see who eats what

oh and i would not be so sure that a grizz will just eat up a kq stock to stock. boht my buddys king quads run really really good. weve never raced. but u can tell from riding them they run really strong.. but again. we are usually hauling a$$ thru the woods.

 

Weird how everyone has a different say in which bike would win. I guess the world will never know which is better. Lol.


Then again people always says they had problems with KQs..I never have. We either got lucky with the years we bought our quads, or we take good care of them ( we do. )..Because none of ours have had any problems. =\

 

You're referring to the grizzly/KQ to the Outty, right?


If you are..You're crazy. Those Outtys will smoke anything lol. Trust me. =|

 

yes in a straight line. im sure the big outty will outrun a king or grizz. thats it.. yes in a straight line. im sure they will out run them all day long. now lets add some tight woods. turns. humps bumps. jumps.. now lets see if the big outty can out run any others thru the woods. a straight line drag race is one thing. but when u are racing thru the woods. such as a hare scramble. or just plane in the woods. just because the outty has bigger power does not mean its going to be the victor. in a woods race. rider rider rider. u can have all the power in the world. but in tight situations. u can only use so much..ive out run atv,s at hare scramble. and fun riding in the woods. that would smoke me in a straight line. but yet they were not the victor. and they had much more power then i.. but yet i came out ahead. and ive had other riders. that had less than i. but yet they became the victor..

 

nullI know one place the Grizz can't stay with the outty thats in the snow at 7000ft.

 

Well I ride with my dad every time I ride one, so I have first hand experience with the two of them in the woods. I've never drag raced him though. I know for a fact that he has no problem keeping up with me when I lead, nor do I have a problem with him.

I'm not saying the KQ or the Grizzly are weak..I said earlier. I love my KQ; but the Outty is another whole level of power. Its like taking a Blaster vs. a Banshee..lol
