I like speed! I hate a stiff seat... I like power steering and highr ground clearance... I like speed! I like plowing my driveway ( so it has to be 4X4 ) Did I mention I like speed?! Brute force 750I or Grizz 700????Im getting sick of thinking about it I have always owned Yamahammers so Im reluctant to change cause Im not sure of the reliability of a Kawi........

Well either will be a powerhouse compared to your Kodi 450. If you REALLY like speed, the Brute will deliver. An Outtie 800 or Renegade 800 would be even faster.
The Brute will probably have a stiffer seat than the Grizz...Both should have good reliability...Lots of my buddie's co-workers have Kawi's and they seem to hold up fine...
Test drive them both or at least sit on them both and see which one YOU prefer.

If speed is that important you might want to consider that the Brutes have tons of hop up potential from all the years of utility class racing and winning with the Praries. If you intend to keep stock then the differences between 700 Griz and 750 Brute are small compared to the big jump from Kodi 450 (actually 420) to Griz 700.
I would stay with Yamaha just because of all the other features such as best tranny, power steering, etc. and have you noticed the prices are coming down.

Why does everyone compare to the Can-Am 800????? To be fair why not compare the Grizz to the Can am 650, which still has more power than the Grizz 700 and about the same power as the BF 750for about $1,000 less than the 800.
At Dealers around here, the Can-am 650XT and Grizz 700 are the same price, and with the 650 you get bumpers, better tires and a winch included. If you buy the standard Outlander 650 it's actually cheaper than the Grizz.

I wasn't comparing to the Outtie 800, I was simply suggesting it as a FAST quad. He said he wanted speed, and the Outtie/Renegade 800 are generally the fastest you can get as far as 4wd goes.
Not trying to start a brand war, or saying that the Outties are the best. Just offering a suggestion for a fast machine.
The Grizz 700 would be faster and more powerful than the Kodi 450 for sure tho, and offers a lot of refinement, such as power steering, high snorkels, etc etc. And if the power steering fails, you'll have normal steering so its not like you won't be able to steer at all. They also have an awsome 4wd & diff-lock system, and tranny.
Take it easy balgonieman, not trying to get anyone all riled up lol. Just offering my thoughts.

If you hate a stiff seat then you need the Grizzly. Check out FITSofRAGEs report on the 700 Grizz. Look for the topic Its not all about power. Look at the reviews about the Grizz. I haven't read one bad topic about it. The Brute will have it beat in power. But your description is that of a Grizz 700.
