Ceramic Coated Header Question
If you want total coolness. Have it coated then wrap it with header wrap. Then you could run it with your hand on it. But i'm not sure how long the wrap will last in the conditions we ride in. A buddy has his wrapped on his Outy 800. I'm real interested to see the long term effect with it. Mainly from rust. So far the wrap is holding up well.

Ceramic Coated Header Question
I've never been a fan of wrap. I don't know why, I've never dragged or anything like you and some others. I just think it looks aweful, but we all know "good looks" and "practical uses" are hardly ever used in the same sentence! I don't seem to have heat problems, I am just looking to give the ATV a little something extra and I really want the pipes to be looking good between my rides!

LOL... I about spit up all over my keyboard when I read that...
As for just boiling off oil... I guess the coating I got w/ my Curtis Sparks isn't as good as the "jet hot"
I had my ceramic coated header on my yfz when my billet plug blew out... I now have an oil burn stain on top of the header when it attaches to the engine...
