Griz 660 or BF650i ??

I currently have a BF 650 (SRA) and am thinking of upgtadig to an IRS quad. I love my brute, but we ride a lot of rocks here and I can see I definitely get bounced around a lot more than those on the IRS quads.
I also like the better ground clearance in the rear of the IRS quads.
The only ones I'm considering are above. I don't need the BF750 power, and I don't need the ps on the Griz 700.
Objective opinions?
Thanks

Both good atv's. IF you go with the 650 kawy, youll be getting a little bit better power increase with the vtwin engine but with the 660, the power wont be as good but still has enough. I would say it comes down to your compforts. Sit on them both to see what you like. My next atv though is a 650I though.:-)

i have had 3 yamaha 2 honda 3 polaris quads and now 2 06 650i kawasaki quads there are things i like about each brand and things i dont like alot but never had any poblems with the yamaha polaris or kawie quads not to nock honda but i did have some minor problems with both of them really i think it all depends on the features you are looking for i really like yamahas push button diff lock alot better than kawies lever though

Have you test driven a new Grizzly 700 w PS? The PS really is very nice and it has Fuel injection which the 660 still does not. Even though the BF 650 is one of the best engines out there, it would be nice to see fuel injection there too.
Seems like the 700 is about $600-1000 over the 660 IMO the suspension upgrades, FI and PS are well worth the money. If ground clearence is something you covet definantly look into the 700. The design of its front suspension give good ground clearence over a wider path than other ATV's. Yamaha really did well IMO on this model for no more than they are asking for it.

He said he did not need or want 700 power or PS.
I don't think you can go wrong with either, obviously both are AWSOME machines and both will do more than you need, however look at it from this point of view, you have owned a KAW 650 for a few years and probably know every square inch of the machine and all its quirks and how to fix / maintain things. So you would be better off with another 650. only if you want to try something new should you pick the Grizz. Just my $0.02 Good luck and let us know what you decide.

Nearly everyone i have talked to thought they didnt need PS until they tried it. And i have never met anyone who doesnt love EFI. He didnt mention he tried or even concidered one. He can definantly go wrong with either because the selections arent offering much of an improvement over his current ATV. If he doesnt atleast check one out I feel he is seriously short changing himself on his new ATV purchase and IMO is not even worth the upgrade from his current ATV unless he adds more than just IRS. Since he did mention that he rides on rocks this is where the PS on the Grizz 700 will shine. I REALLY think you need to check one out if you havent. The new Grizz 700 brings it all together.
