I took my '04 Yamaha Bruin 350 2x4 into the dealer yesterday to see how much it would be worth if I traded it in. After about an hour of looking it over and riding it, they decided it was worth. . . . .

I was appalled! It needs new front tires but that's it. It's got brand new Mudlites on the back, it's never been rolled or wrecked. I mean, it's in good shape.


Now, if I was to put it in the newspaper classifieds, what do you guys think I should ask for? I want to get at least $2000 but I'd love more of course. lol

 

KBB.com lists your trade in value at $1820 and your retail at $2695. The retail seems a little high to me but the trade in seems about right. These are for an ATV in good condition.

I would try to sell it yourself. Maybe ask $2500 and see what you get.

I take it you've never "traded in" a car or cycle before? Welcome to reality. You will NEVER get what it's worth trading in a car or cycle. Trading in is a convenience and YOU pay for it.

If you want what it's worth, sell it yourself. I've never traded in a car or cycle. It takes a little extra effort but I've made thousands more than if I went with the trade in.
