Default Anyone Ever disconnect the Rear Sway-bar??

Hello All,

Anyone ever disconnect the rear-sway bar (if equipped with IRS) before? I would think you would get more independent wheel travel

Any thoughts?

You do. Mine never had a swaybar - Arctic Cat 500i. What I've noticed in comparing it to a swaybar equipped IRS quad (grizzly) is that it crawls over terrain better, but it also leans in turns more. I can crank up the springs and get better handling, but then it rides rougher and loses a bit of wheel articulation. As most of my riding is over rough trails, I prefer a looser spring setting for better crawling, at the expense of overall handling.

So if you're hitting real rough terrain, no swaybar is probably better. If you like good handling at medium to high speed, swaybar is better.
