Kaw 650i vs. AC 650 H1
Hey guys, I am looking for a new bike. The price between the two are within $200 so price is not going to make me lean either way. I will be huntin off this bike in the Palo Duro Canyon. It gets to be pretty rough country. On ocassion I will have a little d$$$ measuring contest with a few buddies. No serious racing just wanted to see how the two compare. Thank yall very much!!!

AC 650 H1 easy. that engine is a powerhouse and has nuts. AC has a good 12 inches of ground clearance and 10 inches of suspension travel for that rough terrain you speak of also. the kawi only has 10" of ground clearance and no comment on susp. travel. the H1 is also an extremely reliable engine, stays a lot cooler than the kawi twin does and runs better.

thanx ac. my cousin is a ac dealer and let me demo a 400 for the week. he said same idea, the 650 h1 has more power. but relatively how close to the 650i is the AC in power.
p.s. they call it a cat bc it will climb anything!!! very happy with just demo-ing the 400 so far!

low end power and mid range torque is unstoppable on cat, the kawi just has top speed over it, which will only be 5-10 mph more. the 650 H1 has the holeshot on it though. pulling power, holeshot, low end and mid range the AC takes the cake. so its more of a quesstion of how close is the kawi to the AC in power.

so the switch from te v2 to the h1 had its advantages, well an arctic cat dealer here in texas owes you a handshake, but the only draw back to the a.c . is that if something breaks, there is only 2 dealers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area that can fix it. and they rely on stuff from Oklahoma. There are a bunch of Kawies. i guess a.c. is known for there snowmobiles? not much of a need for those down here!!
