Thanks outdie2day......... I really like them alot. The ride you get is just
unbelieveable.......if your asking for the size they are 26x9x12 fronts 26x12x12
back on ITP SS108 rims.

Regards

btremont-thanks for reply. Wondering if you had measured the actual mounted height of the tires. Looking at those also for my SP, and had heard they run about an inch taller than stated. What PSI are you running?

outside2day,

I do believe the actual mounted height is a little bit higher than the actual size. When I get home tonight I will check for you. As you have seen
I read every post asked alot of dealers and did my homework on these tires.
FOR ME and FOR WHAT I NEEDED THEM FOR these were perfect for me. So far they are execellent. I am running 6 PSI in the front and 5 PSI in the back.

Regards

Default BIG HORN or MUDLITE XTR TIRES

Like others on this thread, I'm looking at the Bighorn, XTR, and Terracross tires for my 2004 Sportsman 700. The one terrain I haven't seen anyone address here is snow/ice. Which of these tires handles SNOW the best?

The Big Horns work well in the snow but on ice they need studs. If you want a ice tire you need to stud or sip them.

Hi guys, the bighorns are excellent in the snow/ice they seem to float and so far I can get to alot of places.......... but I do agree with brpbear on ice I believe they would work well with studs.........but so far no studs or nothing and they work great........... here are some pics of my last ride.................

Their are two kinds of studs I like the car type better. They will last a lot longer the biggest problem with them is putting them in.The best way is to drill the tire with a die grinder or dermal some thing that burns the rubber.

Stock rims on the front with 12x9x27" big horns and 12x12x27" on ITP wheels on the back.So my back is wider than the front this keeps the rock shock down.
