Default viper winch

I purchased a viper max 3000winch with synthetic rope about 3 months ago. I recently used the winch for only the second time. The rope was pulled inside of the winch between the spool and the housing. I have used many different manufacturers winches over the years and have never came across this problem. I have contacted customer service and will keep everyone updated.

It is very important to unwind your cable and rewind under load, Viper says 100lbs. but warn recommends 500lbs. This will keep the cable tight and has less of a chance of binding.

Hey Peter,

Why don't you review your online website. Your ordering is screwed up. I tried to order a winch today, after filling out the information, I was about to be redirected to a NONSECURE website. What's up with that? I removed my Credit card and boy I am glad I did. Your site is NOT safe to make a purchase. No confirmation, just jump back to your homepage with all of the secure information gone.

WOW. That doesn't sound right! I am going to look into that right away.....it should very well be a secure site off of which to order. You must have run into some kind of glitch.

Hey there.
I sent your concern to our internet manager and she will look into it. Needless to say, we enter many orders on our website daily and we have dealers who put their information right into it for orders in the thousands of dollars. We've never had any issues at all in the couple years of our website being up, so I'm assuming we'll be fine. Hope that helps alleviate any concerns. Just heard back from our website hosting service. Everything is all secure....must have been something loopy with internet explorer.....so our site is totally fine. Phew!
