Has anyone tried the warn 424? Is it worth the $300, and is it only a 2-4 hour job like they say?

 

one of my buddies has it and it works very good
but i'm not sure how long it took him to install

 

Dont even consider passsing up this option. I installed one years ago on my forman 450, best improvement yet. The instructions that come with it are top notch and is pretty easy to install. 4 hours if your taking your time. REmove the black fenders on that side of the bike like the instructions say and it makes alot more room to work.

 

When I get around to restoring my old 300 it is definitely on the list.

I installed one on the wifes Rancher 3 years ago, and I would not keep the quad without it! It still works great! I mounted hers to the side of the oil cooler mount, that put the **** just below the fuel tank, completely out of the way, still within easy reach. I "think" I only paid about $150.00 for mine.

 

The are great! I've had one on the Rancher for years and just installed one on the Rubi. They're worth every penny.
