Iv got a honda rubicon now and i seen thes billet exaust power tips on ebay and they say they add power and sound throaty (what ever that means) so does antone have on and did it help? and how does it sound thanks!!!

 

trail closing exhaust tip? I keep trying to tell someone I ride with to get rid of it, but he likes how it sounds. Nobody else does though and he gets zero performance out of it. Save your money.

 

I have one. No power gain. But... neither did my last bike with a $400 Big Gun Exhaust so... that being said $30 for a little "Rumble in the jungle" is a nicer pill to swallow.

To each his own on how it sounds... all it does is change the exhaust hole to a 2" diameter making it louder. I got mine from 2R racing. This particular model allows you to use the factory spark arrestor if your laws require it.

Running it with the spark arrestor dampens the sound down.

 

It wont add any horsepower, but some people do like the sound. But I like mikem's Comment about them being trail closers, Its pretty accurate.

 

I put one on my Grizz 700 and it really helped the sound, but it messed my fuel injection up, which tells me it flows more air. I added a dubeck programmer and it corrected the problem and then it also added power.
