If you go with the honda, id choose the manual shift, its cheaper, and there is less to go wrong.
Something else to consider, the grizz is gonna need more maint(repack primary pulley every now and then).</end quote></div>
Yeah, ... like once every 10,000 miles.

<div class="FTQUOTE"><begin quote>FourTrax® Rancher® 4x4 ES Price $4,983.00 </end quote></div>
<div class="FTQUOTE"><begin quote>Grizzly 450 Auto. 4x4 Price $5,294.00 </end quote></div>
Thats only $311 difference for the loaded with features 450 Grizzly. IRS,Auto, diff lock, all disk brakes, longer suspension travel, 25" wheels and high ground clearance.
There is suppose to be a $700 difference between the two. Grizzly vs Rancher specs. The grizzly should cost $2000 more with its features.
The EFI on the Honda is nice but thats not very noticeable when riding, like diff lock,25" tires IRS,disk brakes and long suspension travel is.

A Grizzly 450 Auto 4x4 for $5,294 is the way to go for that Price! It is probably a 2007 model.. unless the dealer just bought way too many '08's. Even if it is the 2007 that is a great price... it msrp's for $6,299. I paid $5800 OTD for my 2007. And it if it is the '08 even better the only difference between the two is the 08 has sealed wet brake in the rear and a stock 2" reciever hitch.
I love my Grizzly 450! It has never let me down... the stock tires even do pretty good in the Mud! Once I keep getting stuck too much.. I will then buy the 25" BigHorns. I have gone some places the big bores I ride with can't sometimes due to smaller size.. sometimes due to bigger kajones and sometimes because I am just a better rider :-p
So it is quite obvious! My vote goes to the Yamaha Grizzly 450! The 4x4 system alone is worth the investment... I love the fact that I KNOW I am in true 4x4 (Diff-lock)
