I had mudlites for about a year until I sold my rancher. They were great, went over a couple nails and never got a hole (surprisingly) some guy tried to spike our trail. I probably still had about 90-95% of tread after 800 miles of riding on them. Mud, logs, pavement, rocks, just about everything.

Out here in the desert southwest maxxis bighorns are the best way to go. It is the choice of almost all of the atv clubs and forums. I am facing the same decision this year myself. My stock tires are all but shot. I don't know about the rest of the world, but out here in cactus country, Bighorns are the tires of choice.

i have the xtr radials and love them. in your terrain they would work well but i have to say if you do not have mud or snow riding, the bighorns might be better.i ride with guys who have them and we found the bighorns are better on hard packed and rocky trails, because you can go alittle slower and still get good traction and you can rotate your tires where i can not do that with my xtrs. ride on!

I have a Honda Foreman 450s with 25" Mudlites, they work great! I ride alot in Mark Twain Nat. Forest, and down in Devils Den State Park in NW AR. Where do you do most of your riding?

Duro Power Grips appear equal to the Big Horns for alot less $$$. I am trying a set of them on my Vinson, but haven't had them on long enough to really give a thumbs up. They are more square in cross section than the Big Horns. My dealer was impressed when he mounted them up, he also sells Big Horns. Right now, they have been working great in the snow plowing dept, just starting in the mud & snow dept, by August we will test them in the dried out like concrete dept. We can throw some rocks and thorns in for good measure.......for a North Idaho tire they look good so far!

Five of us ride every friday mostly on private property. We ride in the chesterfeild gorge in massachusetts. We also ride whites rez area, indian hollow, littleville dam and norwitch lake. All in massachusetts. We start at 7pm and ride to 1 or 2 am. We have deep thick mud to really steep rock ledges and endless hard packed trails to cruse on and lots of gravel banks to play in. Did i mention snow and lots of it. Hope that paints a picture for ya, and if you can not keep all 4 tires on the ground well then the next best thing is two. Have fun and as always ride on.///
