Was your Warrior totaled due to factory defects or by the rider's actions? Because if you bring a machine in and something is bent, broken, or not working and the dealer determines that it isn't a factory defect, they will not cover it. I think getting insurance is a smarter move than a warranty. If I ride my quad into car, the quad and car are both covered by my ATV insurance. It also includes theft, fire, total destruction, and bodily injury. All for less than $200 a year.

A couple of my friends have Grizzly 660s and they definitely needed the extended warranty. I don't know if the 700s are any better or worse, but I'll get one no matter what my next quad is. I'd rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.

Extended warranties are usually a no for me, however, if the price and deductible are low, you might as well go for it because it will take a smaller repair (which is more likely) to pay for itself.

Look at it this way. If the odds of needing a major repair were not in the companies favor, they would not offer extended warranties.

Even if I never got an extended warranty on anything else, I would get it on any new model the first year they make it. Just in case it takes a year or two to work the bugs out. If something hasn't changed it a few years it's pretty well proven by then.
