Grizzly 700, fuel injection, power steering, IRS. Great all around quad. You can add more power with all kinds of aftermarket goodies if thats your thing. I've heard you can loft the front wheels with just a press of the throttle.

Where are you located? U.S. or Canada? $10,000 seems a lot for a new us quad, but that won`t get you a new Grizz 700 up here in Canada.

I would suggest the new Arctic Cat 700 Mudpro!

A lot depends on your riding expereince and ability.

If you aren't a total newbie ten I'd would think a Yamaha Grizzly 700 would be a good choice.

One of the legacy Polaris 800 or 500 models you could probably get a very good deal on right now. If you want to wait a few weeks then their new models appear to be a real improvement on an already fine machine.

The Suzuki King Quad 750 is also a good trail machine.

In the end you have to put our butt on the seat and try them yourself. What is comfortable for one person isn't for another. What one person finds to be a good rig for them on the trail another doesn't.

any name brand machine is going to perform above what 99% of the world can safely throw at it. So brand loyalty is just in people's heads.

That's the truth of it. While we like to say the brand we like best is the best- truth is they are all awesome machines and all more capable than anyone but the top few racers/test riders can put it through anyway. I gave up such loyalties with sport bikes, which are so identical that stripped of plastics and graphics, no one short of the top few AMA racers could tell the difference in them.

I like Arctic Cat. I got good prices on mine and they work awesome. Small features like a full 2 inch receiver hitch were selling points for me. The Cat Speedrack system is excellent. I am not a fan of plastic racks on Polaris, although Polaris owners often say theirs are tough as nails.

It's all subjective. My Cat has a suzuki motor in it, so that further blurs the lines between models. Can Am is a Rotax engine, etc.

Try them out, at least for comfort. Other than small differences, they are all very similar in ability. Choose what you get based on current offers, financing, detail features, etc.
