**POLL** Which Mid size class 4x4?

+1. I just read yet another article that says the ride on a Sportsman is second to none. The X2 is supposed to be better than a standard Sportsman but the XP is supposed to be best of all. I guess I'll have to buy one and find out. I love the 4x4 system too. When 2 of my friends got Grizzlys and I saw how there's work I thought the designers must be retarded. They're both talking about trading in their Grizzlies for Sportsman 800s but may get 850s whenever the supply catches up with demand.

550 Xp would be the choice for me in that category. Sure it may not be the most powerful, definitely not the lightest but you can't beat the ride of a sportsman, and the 4X4 system on a polaris is second to none.</end quote></div> That would be the last ATV I would buy a frist year popo you would have to have at least three to keep one running.

Well at least I won't have to wait for my 4x4 to engage, just so I could ride over a log and bend my single spar frame</end quote></div> At least I can get to the log with out breaking down.

grizz 550 and cat 500/550. then the suzuki 450. each year gets tougher to choose as each manufacturer builds something that others havent. i am personally stuck with arctic cat, just for the fact i like everything they offer on their atvs.(even though there are pros and cons). though i wish they had either the yamaha or honda motors as they are well built.(honda just seems a little under powered) then again my 02 cat with suzuki motor has been a champ. wish i could take what i want from each bike and build my own!!

How many first year Popos have you bought that makes you such an expert on them? Any at all?

Having just gone through clean up from hurricane Ike, I would buy nothing but a Suzuki. I had 18 very large Oak, Maple and Pine trees down that I had to clean up and I used a Kingquad and Vinson to pull logs, haul 16' trailer loads of debris and generally get the job done. With quads like these I had no need for a tractor!
