Pick a mid size 4x4 sorry I know that the 420 wont compete agaist a 650 but it does show the more popular models and sorry if I missed one!

I'm split between the Polaris and the Grizzly. I have only had extensive seat time on the 700 Grizzly, not the 450. I'd have to spend a lot of seat time on both before I could make a real decision.

I haven't had any real seat time on the Kawasaki 650 IRS. The old SRA models were quite good though. I liked those with a few exceptions. The new BF 750...not so much. Handling and ride was atrocious and I hate the trigger activated locker the more I ride it.

The Suzuki I've only had a very brief bit of time on and it was on smooth trail so I can't really say one way or another. I rode about a mile and that was it.

The Can-Am I wouldn't want because of the visco-lok. It's simply not effective for the slow, technical trail riding I do.

The Hondas are out since they aren't even available with lockers which make them unsuitable for the type of riding I do.

I'm thinking about another Sportman 500 EFI, or an XP 550 WITHOUT EPS, whichever is in stock next week. I read something yesterday where they said even without EPS the 550 steers 10 times easier than the 500. I could use the $700 I save to buy a winch and other goodies. If someone makes an ATV that rides better than a Sportsman I'll have to get that one instead. Well... the X2 is better but I want a one-person ATV. Since I have arthritis in EVERY vertabrae, ride quality is #1 on my list of needs.

P.S. Nice av Hemi.

I used to have a Dodge ram van and before that a Ramcharger. People never knew if I was going to dodge, ram, or charge. I ended up rolling both of them.

550 Xp would be the choice for me in that category. Sure it may not be the most powerful, definitely not the lightest but you can't beat the ride of a sportsman, and the 4X4 system on a polaris is second to none.
