Default Grizzly wheels

I am thinking about buy new tires for my grizzly and they are 26 x 9-12 front and back and I have the factory wheels which are 12 x 6 fr. and 12 x 7.5 rear. Will i need to buy new rims or can i still use the factory wheels and if so how what would be best???

My friend put "Gator" mud tires with 1- 1/8" lugs ,26x10-12 fronts and 26x12-12 backs on his 660 Grizzly stock rims.

On your machine now you have 25x8-12 on the front 12x6 and 25x10-12 on your rear 12x7.5

So you are more than OK with those 26 inchers... Like TLC said... even 26x10-12 and 26x12-12 would be fine... in fact by going to a slightly wider tire on those rims, you actually provide some protection for the rim.

What kind of tires you thinking? It is a 600, 660 or 700 Grizzly?

Oh and BTW Welcome to the site!

Nice machine.. I have one and LOVE IT! well except for my random problems with oil leaking out of engine area... gotta love Warranty..

Nice choice of tires.. Would love to see pictures once you get them! I am thinking 26" Maxxis Zilla when I replace my tires on my Grizzly 450...

My stock tires did the trick last sunday though... check out the vids

2 Video's

The first my attempt at getting out of that rut...

1st Vid - Deep Rut

The second was just the follow-on (remainder) of the trail which I always thought was a sink-hole... guess not
2nd Vid - not stuck but enjoy anyhow

Also here is the link to the Yamaha manual for the 03-06 Kodiak 450's.

Manual

http://www.savefile.com/files/74511

The link for the manual works but sometimes you just need to work it a bit...

1. Click the link in the Message
2. Scroll down to the Section in the BLUE Box that says "05-06 Kodiak 450" and Click "DOWNLOAD FILE"
3. Your download SHOULD start...

IF NOT

4. Scroll down to the Bottom.... where you will see
" Your download should begin shortly.
If it does not, try Download file now
"

That should do the trick
