they have 4000 and 4500lb winches alone, for sale from $115-$135. and model specific mount kits(with winch) for under $200! they come with 1YEAR WARRANTY and are waterproof. viper is the name brand and i think they make a good winch. parts are cheap if you need to replace them yourself, and there customer service(atleast for me) is excellent! iv had my viper for 2+years and the only time iv had a problem is when i wound the cable wrong and broke the spool(operator error).

i emailed them about a busting upgrade for warrenty customers, when i broke my winch i was well out of warranty. they sent me back a reply and said pay shipping/handeling, a whole $5, and they would sent me the $30 bushing upgrade for free. they didnt have to, but they did and it put a smile on my face.

you will probly hear something abour warn winch or nothing. well a warn will EASILY cost you 2-3 times the amount of a viper... you decide if its worth the money.

If you purchase a WARN you will not need parts or customer service...they last.

I went with a 3000 Viper. Moto's customer service is second to none. Even if you do get a Warn, it has just as much chance of failing as the Viper at double/triple the price. There are some other threads, and forums, that basically say that Warn was top dog before there were more competitors, i.e. Vipers.

I am a complete newb, so my advice is to shop around and go with what you feel comfortable paying for.

You pay for what you get! To me the winch is the second most important accessory you buy and if you want something tho last buy a Warn or a Ramsey and call it good. Both Warn and Ramsey have lifetime warranty if nessessary!
