I am looking to buy a blade for my Polris and don't want to settle for their blade if there is somethind better out there, any body have any suggestions, I was told by a friend that the standard 50" blade is a little small. He said that snow was coming over the top of the blade. Any help would be appreciated.

Those Moose "county" plows are awesome, they are designed to throw snow. Ask fishbone about it, he has one.

Actually, go under the topic "Honda" and find "snowplowing" started by Fishbone. It might be on the second or third page.

I have a 48 inch Cycle Country plow and 26 inch mud runner tires on my 99 Sportsman. This quad will really push the snow with this set up.Best of luck=====BILL

Good choice on not buying the Polaris Plow. I have the 60" Plaris Plow. It does a good job but it is simply to "short" in that it is only 16" tall. Snow wants to go over the top if you have more than eight inches or so. I bolted on a six inch piece of mining belt to hang over the top and this helps a lot but with ten inches to push today, I can see It may be a problem if we have much more. I will say that it had no problem at all pushing the snow, virtually no spin and I believe it would handle a significantly taller blade with no problem.
