which one?

Yes it is, but comparing the 450 grizzly, outlander 400, rancher 420 to a SP500 is not real fair also. The SP500 is matched to a full sized 550 Grizzly.
The out lander "twins" have the strongest motors in there 500,650 and 800 class but the 400 "single" is nothing special.

No disagreement there both the Sportsman and the Can-am are to big (Physical size wise) compared to the others! The Grizz 550 is what they should be comparing the Sportsman too!

Now that there is three 550 Utility ATVs now, I would like to read a comparison on them. Since the 450KQ won the 500 Comparison maybe the 500 KQ could go up gainst the three new 550s even with its motor disavantage, the 450KQ did a great job at it.

Read a Big bore comparison where the 700 Grizzly was not the fastest but best over all, since the 550 uses the same chassis I knew it would be a very good mid class also.

The only thing that is different between the 700 and 550 Grizz is the head and stroke of the motor. I have rode the 550 and I think it is just as quick as the700 without the low end punch that the 700 has. People that have them LOVE them.

dirt wheels has done a mid size shootout too. i like the 550 grizzly but $8000 is ridiculous. 10 years ago $7000 -$8000 you could buy anything. the prices on quads is borderline insane and they keep cluimbin every year. they're gonna price me out of the sport by 2020

I,m almost at 10 year now and I would not want a 450 Grizzly and I rode one more than a few times. Thats one good thing about our camping trips,we have many types of ATVs and we trade rides all the time.
Even the 420 Rancher could not win the budget 4x4 shootout. ATV Comparison - 2009 Budget 4x4 ATVs Reviewed.
