hay guys i,m new to this form i am a kawasaki guy.My question....i just rebuilt my kawasaki bayou 300 4x4 top end. first turn of the engine it fired right up..i treated it like a baby for the first few days and still am.But it is makeing some sounds in the cam chain area but i dont think it is the rebuild that has any thing to do with it because the same sound was made befor the rebuild is this sound normal with bayous? the sound is not loud at all it just rakes on me all ansuers will be hapily taken. thanx

 

Do you have a little more detail on the nosie its makeing? I have had to replace the cam chainon a kfx 400 a couple times because it gets slack in it and makes a ticking sound, but if your sure that is where the nosie is coming from i would go ahead and replace it.
