Old vs. New Grizzly

Old vs. New Grizzly
I own a 2005 Yamaha Grizzly with the 660 cc engine with aftermarket factory-sized ITP rims with Holeshot ATR tires. I mostly ride long trails in the KY mountains.
I have been considering making the jump to a new 550 cc Grizzly. Does anybody have enough experience with both to make a comparison? How do they compare as far as power, storage, range on a tank of fuel, and off-camber situations? How does the downhill engine braking compare? Is it stronger on the newer Grizzlies or the same? Is the EPS worth it?
Thanks for any input.

The 660 has more HP then the 550 naturally 36hp vs 42hp. Except for the power steering and easer warm up time with the EFI you will be hard press to tell them apart.
Not worth the power and speed loss to me. I rode the new 700 Grizzly (No P.S) and 660 Grizzly many times and could barely tell them apart.
I rode with a 550 Grizzly on a open gravel road and could hang with him pretty good but a 660 could hand it to us without much trouble on conditions like that.
Up here Power Steering is a $1000 Option ,You can buy a 700 Grizzly with no Power Steering for the same price as a 550 with power steering.
I rode many ATVs in my life and never thought they where hard to steer,so it not a $1000 option for me. I would put that grand into aftermarket rims and tires first.
