Hey guys so . I have a 2000 yamaha kodiak 400 4x4. I was riding and it just shut off I noticed a smell and smoke from under seat . It was coming from cdi box . So I replaced it with a new box from the same year and model . IT started right up and ran for about a minute . The I heard a pop and seen smoke coming from cdi box again . I have checked for any shorts in wires can't find any. Now when I turn the key on the cdi box will smoke and it will blow the ignition fuse. I am not sure what to do anymore can anyone please help .
